Amy Eggleton - Chair (Master of Business, Bachelor of Equine Business Management)

Risk Management - Financial Services (Deakin University)

Amy has over 15 years’ experience within the finance and education sectors, with extensive experience in operational and strategic management as well as risk and compliance and managerial. I am a highly experienced operations manager with a demonstrated track record of reliably delivering a range of projects and services in a timely fashion. My business practice includes building strong customer-focused relationships that enables business to be conducted effectively. With excellent organisational skills that allows the outcomes of multiple projects to be achieved as well as being a team player with high attention to detail.

My formal qualifications include:

  • CPA Australia (current studies)
  • Masters in Business with a Major in Human Resource Management (Queensland University of Technology)
  • Bachelor in Equine Business Management (University of Sydney)
  • Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors (Australian Institute of Company Directors)

Amy has a strong background in finance, banking, research, education and from 2014-16 served on the Equestrian Queensland Board, including as Treasurer in 2016.

 

Lisa Winn (Bachelor of Commerce – 1st Class Honours) - was formerly the Chief Marketing Officer for the Coco Cola Company Australia and NZ, is a keen amateur eventer and Pony Club mum and is the Chair the Equestrian NSW Communications and Marketing Committee.

Sue Cunningham - is currently the Judge Coordinator of Dressage NSW, is a FEI Para Dressage 5* Judge and National A level Judge, is a Member of the FEI Para Dressage Technical Committee, judged at the 2018 WEG and 2021 Tokyo Paralympics and is an EA Level 2 Dressage Coach and SSTA.

Alison McLean - (Bachelor of Accounting and a graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting)

Alison is a Chartered Accountant and the principal practitioner at a public accounting and advisory practice firm. Specialising in business advisory and compliance for small to medium sized businesses. She is also the current chair of the Equestrian NSW Finance, Audit and Risk Management committee. This committee oversees ENSW’s financial accounts and statements, internal controls, policies and procedures as well as other duties as required.

In addition to the above, Alison is the current chair and board member for the national body for Working Equitation in Australia - ANWE. Responsible for the finance, governance, strategy of the organisations among other duties.

Alison competes at Pre-novice Eventing (Current 1*), Dressage and Working Equitation and has also completed Intro Coaching Course and is a Breeder of Warmblood horses.

Alison lives in the Central West.

Nicola Rockwell - (Diploma of Marketing - ADMA 1994, is a certified Information Privacy Professional 2022 and hold ISOIEC 9001/2700 Auditor Certification 20221)

Nicola is a participant in AOR dressage along with being a parent of child who competes at an FEI level in Dressage and Eventing and lives in the Hills District of Sydney

In her extensive tenure on sporting committees, encompassing both equestrian and baseball organisations, she has played a pivotal role in facilitating substantial growth. Nicola’s contributions have been instrumental in increasing participation rates and fostering financial growth through strategic sponsorship acquisitions. Through leadership and dedication, she has consistently elevated clubs to new heights, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.

In addition to Nicola’s involvement in sporting committees, she has had the privilege of serving as the CEO of Rockwell Information Services, a successful software company for the past 20 years. During her tenure, she has overseen the company's evolution, shaping it into a recognised industry leader. Nicola’s responsibilities have included strategic planning, team leadership, and the development of innovative solutions that have propelled the company to unparalleled success.

People management is a cornerstone of Nicola’s leadership philosophy. Over the years, she has built and nurtured high-performing teams that are both inspired and committed to our collective mission. My approach emphasises collaboration, talent development, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Nicola has substantial experience in online learning and compliance. This unique combination of expertise has equipped her with the ability to ensure that strategic direction and compliance considerations are seamlessly integrated into all stages of planning. This approach ensures that her company remains not only innovative but also compliant with regulatory and industry standards.

 Rod McQueen 

Rod has taken on the role of Coach and Discipline Support for the Equestrian NSW State Interschool Team, supporting Jumping, Combined Training, and Eventing competitors. I am particularly committed to mentoring young riders, as they represent the future of our sport.

 In addition to my coaching, I was previously a volunteer in our local equestrian community, serving as Safety Officer and Groundskeeper for the Central Coast Showjumping Club. Prior to my full-time dedication to showjumping, I worked as a qualified plumber from 2008 to 2013 before focusing entirely on my riding and training career with Equus Australia.

 I am excited by the opportunity to bring my experience, passion, and commitment for Equestrian Sport to the Equestrian NSW Board and to continue supporting the equestrian community at every level.
