Vacancy - Education Coordinator

This is a unique opportunity to combine a love of equestrian sport with your skills and experience in education to ensure the ongoing sustainability of our sport through the education of our members, volunteers, clubs and officials.

Position: Education Coordinator

Hours: Part Time (0.4 – 0.6 FTE)

Location: Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsley Park with some work from home available

Travel: Some intra-state travel required

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate education pathways and opportunities for athletes, officials, and volunteers in alignment with the ENSW strategic plan.

Coordinate forums to share experiences within the equestrian community, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Manage the cross-discipline education committee, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

Develop online training materials using the Evolve Authoring tool to ensure current and accessible learning materials are available to our members and officials regardless of their location.

Administer the ENSW Moodle Learning Management System, ensuring its functionality and relevance to the evolving needs of the community.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the quality and scope of educational offerings.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant qualifications in Education

Proven experience in coordinating educational programs within a sports or community organisation

Program delivery both face-to-face and online

Familiarity with equestrian sports and a passion for promoting education within the community.

Experience in risk and safety management.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Experience in using Evolve Authoring tool and Moodle Learning Management System (or similar)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
