HENDRA UPDATE - 20 March 2015
Today, Equestrian NSW and Equestrian Queensland requested Equestrian Australia to convene a Special General Meeting to discuss and vote on the motions carried at the recent Equestrian NSW General Meeting. Equestrian Australia is now required to convene the meeting within 30 days.
The motion submitted to EA is exactly the same as was carried at the Equestrian NSW General Meeting and effectively proposes that EA revokes the Hendra By-Law and ceases consideration of any By-Law that has mandatory Hendra vaccination.
Equestrian NSW will vote in favour of the motion.
