Australian Riders Claim Victory in Penang

While everyone was focussing on Adelaide, two young interschool riders were off to Malaysia to represent Australia at the Penang Turf Club Horse Show.

Chef d'equipe Annyka Overton (NSW), Madeline Prell (NSW) and Sophia Landy (Vic) packed their bags as the two Australian riders were competing by invitation in Dressage and Show Jumping.

Word is in that Australia won with some amazing results across the competition.  With the girls competing on borrowed horses, Annyka kept a watchful eye and coached the girls to victory.

Maddy Prell and Izad Rushdi (Malaysian rider) won Overall Champion Team with Sophia Landy and Rian Yamazaki's (Malaysian rider) team only points off Reserve Champion.

Equestrian NSW would like to congratulate Annyka, Maddy and Sophia.
